What excites you about your residency/fellowship at Corewell Health in West Michigan? As a first generation American-Armenian, born and raised in Los Angeles, I am overall excited for my new journey in Grand Rapids, Michigan! I am looking forward to training at a program that I know will guide me to continue making a difference in someone's life through compassion, empathy, and humility. I am hoping to meet incredible people, build lasting relationships, while bringing joy to those around me all while gaining confidence in my clinical abilities!

Clinical interests: Some of my clinical interests include learning more about alternative and lifestyle medicine! I am also interested in OB/women's health and how to be the best patient advocate I can be for underserved communities.

Hobbies: My hobbies include indoor cycling and group exercise fitness classes! Whether it be going for a run at the park, rollerblading on the beach boardwalk, finding a new trail to hike, or strolling around a botanical garden, I love being outdoors! I have also found a passion for creating art - may it be acrylic painting, ceramic wheel throwing, or diamond art.

What excites you about your residency/fellowship at Corewell Health in West Michigan? I am most excited to be back in Grand Rapids where I will be able to learn and practice in both the urban and rural setting.

Clinical interests: My interest include sports medicine and lifestyle/preventative medicine.

Hobbies: My wife and I enjoy traveling, hiking and watching sports. I also enjoy golfing and going out to new restaurants.

What excites you about your residency/fellowship at Corewell Health in West Michigan? I love that my family medicine residency provides a unique opportunity to train in both rural and urban settings. I also like the incorporation of the lifestyle medicine curriculum into our training.

Clinical interests: I am interested in a full-spectrum family medicine, especially in rural settings. I have a special interest in cardiovascular diseases and palliative care.

Hobbies: I am a sports and outdoor enthusiast. My favorite sports are running and tennis. I also enjoy landscape and wildlife photography. Above all, I love spending time with my two little daughters.

What excites you about your residency/fellowship at Corewell Health in West Michigan? The residency program felt like the best fit due to the opportunity to train in both rural and urban settings. I was also interested in the lifestyle medicine curriculum.

Clinical interests: My interests include women's health and preventative medicine.

Hobbies: I love trying all types of coffee shops when I travel. I also love movie nights with my friends.

What excites you about your residency/fellowship at Corewell Health in West Michigan? I am very fortunate to have completed all my higher education training in my home of West Michigan. I have been able to lean on my family and close friends for support throughout the years and am excited to complete my residency training by serving the community which shaped me into who I am today.

Clinical interests: I am interested in all things related to the family unit, specifically pediatric care and mother and newborn wellness, in addition to psychiatric care and office-based procedures!

Hobbies: I enjoy learning about unique topics ranging from anthropology to space with a good documentary. I love a bike ride with my husband and two daughters on a warm sunny day. I also enjoy dancing and singing. On the weekends, my husband and I play Dungeons and Dragons with our friends.

What excites you about your residency/fellowship at Corewell Health? One of the many things that excite me about being here is the ability to work in both rural and urban settings, in both an unimposed setting and a setting where just about every specialty is at your fingertips.

Clinical Interests: A few areas of interest for me are rural medicine, preventive medicine, and global health.

Hobbies: I enjoy outdoor activities like hiking and camping, hanging out with friends and family and traveling to new places.

What excites you about your residency/fellowship at Corewell Health? I was drawn to Corewell Health in West Michigan for the opportunity to live in West Michigan while training in both an urban and rural setting.

Clinical Interests: My clinical interests include sports and lifestyle medicine, as well as global health.

Hobbies: I love playing and watching sports, exercising, going to concerts and traveling. I also enjoy exploring new restaurants, breweries and ice cream shops. Go green!

Clinical Interests: My interests include women's health, palliative/hospice care and addiction medicine.

Hobbies: My hobbies include video games, thrift shopping, art (watercolors, sketching) and hanging out with my husband and dogs.

What excites you about your residency/fellowship at Corewell Health? As a Grand Rapids native, I am very familiar with the reputation of excellence that Corewell Health in West Michigan enjoys, as well as the important role is plays in the healthcare needs of West Michigan. I am excited to learn and practice in the community in which I grew up and I hope to contribute to the culture of greatness that Corewell Health has fostered.

Clinical Interests: My greatest interest is in the critical role that primary care plays in an effective and efficient healthcare system. I am also interested in public & global health, specifically infectious disease and tropical medicine.

Hobbies: My wife and I enjoy a myriad of outdoor activities, including hiking, kayaking and biking. I also enjoy reading, home improvement projects and dabble in computer science.

What excites you about your residency/fellowship at Corewell Health? I chose Spectrum Health to be closer to family, because of my love for West Michigan and the scope of training that was offered during residency.

Clinical Interests: My clinical interests include preventative care, palliative care, hospice and geriatrics.

Hobbies: My hobbies include group fitness classes like spinning and barre. I enjoy watching sports, especially college basketball, football and reality TV.

Why did you choose Spectrum Health for your residency/fellowship? I chose Spectrum Health for it's training in both rural and urban settings, as well as the welcoming providers and residents.

What are your clinical interests? Besides full scope family medicine, I'm also interested in hospice and palliative care.

Hobbies: I love travelling, concerts and food. As well as spending time with my husband and our cats.
